President
William Fahie
Pembroke College
william.fahie@pmb.ox.ac.uk
My name is Will, and I’m thrilled to be serving as president of OUABC this year. It’s my fourth year as a boxer, and I’m excited to take on this new role. My main responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of the club, and I’m always available to chat with anyone who has any questions or concerns. I look forward to a very exciting year at the helm!

Secretary
Sophie Treacy
Mansfield College
sophie.treacy@mansfield.ox.ac.uk
Hi I’m Sophie and I’m the Secretary of OUABC this year. I took up boxing as a novice last year and have been hooked ever since. As Secretary, I manage club membership and assist the President with event organisation and the general running of the club.

Treasurer
Lincoln Booth
Kellogg College
Hey, I’m Linc! As Treasurer of OUABC and resident Aussie, I manage the club’s finances and work with sponsors, the University, and other partners to keep boxing accessible and affordable for all members. I also collaborate closely with our coaches and committee on the long-term growth and development of the club. I’ve been boxing for 7 years, and have been part of OUABC since 2024.

Women's Captain
Gabriele Lukoseviciute
St Anne's College
gabriele.lukoseviciute@st-annes.ox.ac.uk
My name is Gabriele (Gabi). I look forward to helping lead the club as women’s captain once again. I joined OUABC in Freshers’ Week of first year, and have been a constant presence at the club ever since. I love seeing people progress, whether that be in ability, fitness - or even just confidence, and am keen to help them achieve. I am always willing to train with anyone, and can often be found on long walks. The club has taught me the meaning of true friendship and teamwork, and I hope that others will gain as much from being part of it as I have.

Men's Captain
Patrick Ashmore
St John's College
Hello! I am Patrick, men’s captain for the 25/26 season. I began boxing in my teens on an informal basis, after discovering OUABC in freshers week I was hooked. Within 2 terms I boxed at the 116th annual varsity match in Cambridge. It is an honour to represent the club as men’s captain. I am always a friendly face at sessions, open to any questions regarding training, memberships and competing.

Men's Vice Captain
Thomas Kennedy Wise
Trinity College
I am a postgraduate chemist with 3 years boxing experience with the club.

Men's Welfare
James Somper
New College
My name is James and I’ve been the club’s residence nuisance for 2 years now. I started boxing when I started my DPhil and have loved it ever since. It’s my job to make sure that nothing other than your exterior is bruised while boxing for the club. From pre-bout jitters to post-session exhaustion, I have experienced it, and hence can deal with whatever should ail you, or at the very least try! You can find me probably annoying the rest of the committee, and emphasising that the point of the sport is to have a good time at the end of the day, win or lose!

Women's Welfare
Jinseo Kim
Green Templeton College
Hi, I'm Jin, and I'll be one of your Welfare Officers! I'm a DPhil student in Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation and have been boxing for two years. An orthodox boxer with a love for the left body shot, I'm passionate about creating a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming environment—especially for female boxers in the club. I'm all about making boxing fun, safe, and accessible for everyone.
