Oxford University Amateur Boxing Club is one of the oldest boxing clubs in the UK, founded in 1881. Each year the club members train and compete in a number of boxing shows and events, which culminate in our annual Varsity match against Cambridge.

OUABC will host its Annual Home Show on January 31st 2026 at Iffley Road Sports Centre, Oxford,
OX4 1EQ. Doors will open at 5:30pm, with the first bout beginning promptly at 6:30pm.
Guests can expect a full programme of competitive bouts from our Blues squad, drinks and snacks available to purchase, and an unforgettable night celebrating the proud heritage of boxing at Oxford.
The Club will host an additional reception prior to the event at the Rugby Pavillion at Iffley Road, (additional £50) featuring drinks, canapés and a guest speaker. All our welcome to attend, particularly alumni and friends of the Club. (Please note reception tickets do not include fight entry. Tickets must be purchased separately).
Dress code: Black tie.
